Albania’s top forward Hamdi Salihi was refused permission to play by his Austrian club Rapid Wien, while central defender Lorik Cana is in discussions with prospective teams as he looks to leave Turkey’s Galatasaray.
A spokesman of the Albanian Football Federation declined to comment on the telephone Friday.
Kuze, who considers this match “historical,” is looking for a strong defense against Argentina’s top players like Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez.
