Besiktas signs Manchester United's Bebe on loan

Besiktas has confirmed via its official website that it has signed Manchester United winger Bebe on a season-long deal.
The website of the Turkish stock market originally broke the news that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs for the transfer of the 20-year-old, but an official announcement has since been made by the Istanbul outfit.
Bebe, an Under-21 international for Portugal, was surprisingly signed by Manchester United last summer for a fee of nine million euros, when just days before Vitoria de Guimaraes had brought him in from Estrela da Amadora for free.
The player had very few chances to shine in his first season at Old Trafford as he spent most of his time in the reserve squad.
Besiktas will pay Manchester United one million euros for the loan deal, but it is still unknown whether the Turkish side has secured a buying option for the player.
Bebe now becomes the fourth Portuguese player at Besiktas, following in the footsteps of Ricardo Quaresma, Hugo Almeida and Simao Sabrosa.
