Blackpool boss Ian Holloway: Beating Manchester United 'will be the best thing that’s ever happened in football'

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has rallied his players by telling them to create history against Manchester United.
The Seasiders are currently in 18th place in the Premier League, and take on the champions on the final day of the season in the hope of ensuring their top tier survival.
But the Red Devils have not lost a single league game at Old Trafford this campaign, winning 17 and drawing one of their 18 matches so far.
Even so, the Tangerines boss hopes to do the seemingly impossible and somehow beat Sir Alex Ferguson's men to retain their top-flight status.
"We’ve got the greatest opportunity in our lives to go there, and beat this lot. It will be the best thing that’s ever happened in football," Holloway said, according to The Guardian.
"I told them they will read articles about it in years to come and said: ‘You’ll go down in history, boys.’ I want this team to make history because I believe it should.
"I believe this team is good enough to do something really special and, whether they all go in the summer or not, there’s only one way to achieve that and that’s by beating Manchester United."
