Blackpool vs Bolton preview - No injury concerns for Holloway

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has no new injury concerns ahead of the Barclays Premier League clash with Bolton.

Holloway will have almost a full squad to choose from for the Bloomfield Road clash, with two exceptions.

David Carney - whose season was ended by a shoulder problem - is the only injury absentee, while Marlon Harewood, recently returned from a loan stint at Barnsley, will not be considered for fitness reasons.

Holloway believes securing safety in their last two matches would eclipse the Wembley win which got them there in the first place.

The Tangerines, who sit one point from safety in 18th position, host Bolton before travelling to champions-elect Manchester United on the last day of the season.

Though United will likely be in party mode for that fixture with the Premier League trophy set to be awarded that day, getting anything at Old Trafford would still be a big ask for Blackpool, which heightens the importance of Saturday's fixture.

But even to have a chance of survival at this stage is an achievement for a club who were widely expected to sink without trace after beating Cardiff in last year's Championship play-off final.

Holloway said: "We know that it's not in our hands and we've got to do what we can and basically that is to win.

"We've got one home game left and we've got to win it to give ourselves any sort of chance. For us this is as big as it gets, in my opinion bigger than Wembley, and four points out of six would be an even bigger achievement than what we did last year."

Bolton will be without Mark Davies after the midfielder became the latest Trotters player to go under the knife.

The 23-year-old, who has made only two substitute appearances in the last two months, had surgery on Thursday to remove bone fragments in his ankle but boss Owen Coyle is optimistic he will be fit for pre-season.

Stuart Holden, Sean Davis (both knee) and Sam Ricketts (Achilles) are all long-term absentees while Marcos Alonso is expected to be unavailable after his involvement in a car accident in Madrid two weeks ago.
