ROME (AFP) - Inter Milan's Japan full-back Yuto Nagatomo has set his sights on winning the Italian Cup now that his side are all but mathematically out of the Serie A title race.
AC Milan need just one more point from three games to be crowned champions but Inter are still in with a chance of Cup success.
They lead Roma 1-0 from the first leg in Rome two weeks ago with the return to come at the San Siro next week.
In the final they would face either Milan or Palermo, who are locked at 2-2 after their first leg at the San Siro.
"Obviously it would be very difficult to win the title but we won't give up," said Nagatomo at the launch of Inter's new Japanese-version website.
"Now we want to win the Cup. We want to end the season with an important success and we're focussed on that."
Nagatomo also revealed that coach Leonardo sometimes gives him instructions in Japanese.
The Brazilian spent two seasons at Kashima Antlers in the mid-1990s.
"He focuses on the details and talks to us (players) a lot," added Nagatomo.
"If I'm not sure of something he explains everything to me, also in Japanese, he's a great coach."
