Madrid accuse 'racist' Barca

BARCELONA were accused of being racists by Real Madrid as the lid blew off tonight's powderkeg Champions League clash at the Nou Camp.
Real claimed Brazilian full-back Marcelo was called a monkey by Sergio Busquets as Barca won the first leg 2-0 at the Bernabeu last week.
The club put a video purporting to show Busquets mouthing "mono, mono" - Spanish for monkey - on their website.
Then assistant boss Aitor Karanka followed up with his own attack as things descended into the gutter as the two sides prepared to play each other for the fifth time this season.
With Jose Mourinho side- stepping last night's Press conference, Karanka stormed: "There have been racist insults made by Barca players while they covered their mouths. We'd like those players not to be on the pitch for the return.
"UEFA has T-shirts saying respect and fair play. But there are going to be players at the Nou Camp who don't respect this sort of thing."
Barca boss Pep Guardiola hit back:
"Racist? I know my players, all of them. They are an example of professionalism, of honesty. They love the values of the sport."
