Forfar 3-2 Ayr - Fotheringham brace blows Ayr away

Martyn Fotheringham stepped off the bench to net a brace as he helped Forfar secure a hard-fought 3-2 win over Ayr at Station Park.
Alan Trouten turned home Mark Roberts' cross to hand Ayr a 37th-minute lead but Ross Campbell levelled matters in the 51st minute with a good strike from the edge of the penalty area.
Scott McLaughlin then restored the visitors` lead in the 71st minute with a long-range effort before Fotheringham took over.
He levelled matters for the second time in the 75th minute with a fine strike which flew into the top corner before his cross fortunately looped over goalkeeper Alan Martin and inside the far post in the 84th minute.
