Atletico Madrid Won't Sign Tiago Mendes From Juventus On Permanent Deal

Atletico Madrid will send midfielder Tiago back to Juventus at the end of the season, with reports suggesting they will not seek to sign him permanently.
The 29-year-old left the Italian club last January and signed a loan deal with the Spanish outfit which was renewed in summer 2010, and will expire at the end of the current campaign.
Atleti have an option to make the move a permanent one, but it seems coach Quique Sanchez Flores is reluctant to retain the player.
Marca reports that the Portuguese will return to the Old Lady, leaving sporting director Giuseppe Marotta with more to ponder ahead of the summer market as he looks to cut down the size of his squad.
Reports have also suggested that Juve would try and use Tiago as a pawn in an ambitious move for Sergio Aguero, but that now seems unlikely.
