Ross County 2 : 0 Greenock Morton - Second-half double enough for County

Michael Gardyne and Steven Milne struck at either end of the second half to secure Ross County a 2-0 victory against Morton.
Gardyne struck 29 seconds after the interval, with Milne adding a second in the last four minutes. It gave Ross County only their third home win this season and eased their relegation fears.
In a first-half of few chances, Morton looked most threatening. Derek Lyle and Brian Graham both put close-range headers over the crossbar.
Gardyne broke the deadlock at the start of the second half when he slotted home from 12 yards from Jason Marr's right-wing cross.
Morton, who started the day fourth in the league, were reduced to long-range efforts to get back in the game.
But it was the home side who looked the more likely. Andrew Barrowman shot wide from six yards after 67 minutes, but Milne settled nerves at the end when he directed Richard Brittain's cross into the bottom-right corner.
