Dunfermline kept-up their promotion tilt with a 4-1 hammering of Stirling in a game that saw three players dismissed.

Martyn Corrigan saw red for Stirling as he hauled down Steven McDougall in the box, allowing Martin Hardie to convert from the penalty spot after 31 minutes.

Paul McHale joined his Albion team-mate in the changing room after he picked up a second booking, and Dunfermline's Gary Mason was given his marching orders for violent conduct soon after.

A second penalty, awarded after Sean Welsh up-ended Joe Cardle, allowed Hardie to bag his second after 45 minutes as Stirling's afternoon turned from bad to worse.

The hosts dominated the clash thereafter and found themselves three ahead 10 minutes into the second period when Liam Buchanan struck.

John Kane pulled one back for Stirling, but Hardie completed his hat-trick in the final minute from Alex Burke's cross.
