Quad's on - but next 18 days are make or break, warns Wenger

Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal can win the quadruple after their Champions League win over Barcelona.

The Gunners will put all four trophies on the line over the next 18 days, starting with tomorrow’s FA Cup fifth round tie at Leyton Orient.

Wenger, who admitted the campaign could amount to all or nothing, said: “We want to go for every single competition, and I believe we can go to the end in every one. But it can also stop very quickly. It’s down to how much we believe and how much commitment we show.”

After Wednesday’s Premier League date with Stoke, Arsenal bid to end their six-year trophy drought in the Carling Cup final against Birmingham a week tomorrow.

And thanks to Andrey Arshavin’s late winner, they take a 2-1 lead to the Camp Nou for the second leg of their Champions League clash with Barcelona.

“I’m convinced we have the hunger, and we are all committed to go as far as we can,” said Wenger.

“To win trophies we have to be capable of switching from one competition to another with exactly the same commitment.

“We have had tough games against Leeds, Ipswich and Huddersfield in earlier rounds this year, so we have been warned how difficult it is.”
