Millwall v Barnsley preview

Team news for Millwall's Championship clash with Barnsley at the New Den on a Friday night.

Millwall will add Craig Eastmond to their depleted squad for the clash.

Boss Kenny Jackett has drafted in the 20-year-old Arsenal midfielder on loan until the end of the season.

The Lions still have doubts over defenders Tony Craig (back), Darren Ward (ankle) and Paul Robinson (hamstring).

Norwich loanee Jens Berthel Askou was sent off on his debut against the Foxes and is suspended while a fifth centre-half, Dan Shittu, this week left the club to join QPR.

Darren Purse, the recent signing from Sheffield Wednesday, is in line to make his full debut after coming on at half-time last week.

Midfielder Tamika Mkandawire (groin) and striker Josh McQuoid (ankle) are also in the treatment room.

Barnsley skipper Stephen Foster is a major doubt for his side's game at Millwall.

Foster returned to the starting line-up following suspension in midweek, but sustained a cut shin that required stitches in the derby win at Doncaster and is not expected to play.

Defender Bobby Hassell or midfielder Nathan Doyle, who covered for Foster in last Saturday's home draw with Swansea, will fill the void alongside Jason Shackell.

Striker Danny Haynes, on loan from Bristol City, is expected to start alongside Garry O'Connor again having fired both goals against Rovers in his second game for the Tykes.

Jay McEveley and Luke Potter remain sidelined with knee injuries, but manager Mark Robins has no other new injury or suspension problems, and although winger Jim O'Brien is pushing for a place in the starting line-up, no unforced changes are expected.
