Ashley and Kayla split

I'VE taken my suit back to Moss Bros - ASHLEY COLE and KAYLA COLLINS have called it a day.
Just when I was gearing up for the big engagement party, the wild stag night and a summer wedding, the couple pulled the plug on their brief relationship after the P DIDDY playback party on Thursday.

They had a barney at the bash and later decided that after five weeks together perhaps they are not quite right for each other. I broke the story of how they hooked up on December 16.

It's a shame - they could have been the new Des and Daphne.

A source said: "Ashley and Kayla enjoyed their time together but knew a long-term future was unlikely. Kayla went back to the States over Christmas and Ashley was looking forward to meeting up with her afterwards but that was it - nothing more.

"Both have heavy work commitments and Ashley has just come out of a high-profile relationship so it just wasn't the right time to start getting serious."

The former couple had arrived separately at the Pigalle Club in London's West End to hear Diddy's new material.

The US glamour model arrived first but later joined the Chelsea star, who was with four mates.

One of them sat between Ashley and Kayla during the playback, which didn't go down too well with I'm A Celebrity star Kayla, who sat there looking bored stiff.
