Raith go top after win

Raith went top of the Irn-Bru First Division after they claimed a 1-0 win over a battling Ross County side.
Laurence Ellis's goal on 65 minutes was enough to win it and though John McGlynn's side go above Dunfirmline in the standings, they never looked convincing against a struggling Ross County team.
Ellis took his goal well as he fired in a volley from the edge of the area that flew into the top left-hand corner of the net.
Marc Fitzpatrick could have stolen a point for the home side in the 88th minute but his shot hit the post from 12 yards out.
It would have been the least they deserved and Staggies boss Willie McStay will be dissapointed with a defeat.
