Man Utd v Liverpool preview

Liverpool, meanwhile, edged nearer to the relegation zone following their ninth defeat of the campaign in the 3-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.
That reverse has seen Roy Hodgson's position as manager become engulfed in frenzied scrutiny, with serious doubts over his future with the club.
If the 63-year-old is still in charge by Sunday afternoon, the former Fulham tactician could have Raul Meireles back amongst his ranks after the Portugal midfielder missed the Rovers reverse with an ankle injury.
Fabio Aurelio was also absent at Ewood Park and the Brazilian full-back will be pushing for a recall, as will centre-back Daniel Agger who came off the bench in midweek, and they could come in for Martin Skrtel (stomach) and Paul Konchesky (leg) who are both struggling.
Dirk Kuyt could return to the starting XI having been a substitute against Rovers, which would mean Joe Cole or Maxi Rodriguez missing out.
Liverpool vice-captain Jamie Carragher will continue to watch on from the sidelines as he continues to recover from a dislocated shoulder, otherwise Hodgson has a near full-strength squad to choose from.
