Martinez to rotate squad; Tigers without Mclean
Wigan travel to Hull City in their FA Cup third round tie aiming to avoid a shock against the Championship side.
The Latics are expected to rest a number of key stars with Premier League survival their top priority this season.
Hull will have their eyes on taking a Premier League scalp having found some good form in recent weeks.
Wigan will be without loan star Tom Cleverley as he has been ruled out for up to four weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury against Bolton in midweek.
Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland, who suffered a bang to the head in the same game, is not seriously injured but will not feature while Mauro Boselli (hamstring) will be out for seven days.
Emmerson Boyce (hamstring) is close to fitness but may not be risked while Charles N'Zogbiais suspended and James McCarthy, Victor Moses and Franco di Santo remain long-term absentees.
Tigers news
Hull will not be able to call upon recent signing Aaron Mclean as the striker is cup-tied having played in the competition for Peterborough already this season.
Another recent arrival, striker Matty Fryatt, is eligible following his permanent move from Leicester and could make his first start after stepping off the substitutes' bench to score on his debut at Portsmouth.
Robert Koren is back in contention following illness and could step in for Mclean but manager Nigel Pearson will be without fellow midfielder Tom Cairney, who is sidelined after burning himself on scolding water at home.
Defender Liam Rosenior sits out the second of a three-game ban, goalkeeper Vito Mannone has returned to parent club Arsenal due to a thigh injury and winger Richard Garcia has undergone knee surgery.
Pearson could hand a late fitness test to full-back Paul McShane, who is struggling with a shoulder injury.
