FC Utrecht visit Stadionul Steaua without Zambia international Jacob Mulenga, who's been the main driver of the Dutch side this season. Both teams will be looking forward to celebrate their first victory in the competition in the Romanian capital on Thursday's evening.
Alje Schut's own goal gave Steaua an important point two weeks ago. It was Utrecht's first goal conceded in Europe in over 400 minutes, and left Dutch-based side along with Napoli on the second position after three consecutive draws.
The three points are essential for both squads to keep their hopes alive in the competition. Steaua occupies Liga I's sixth position and victory is mandatory, while the visitors might have enough with one point considering the other two candidates for qualification are taking on each other.
