Brechin held on to top spot in Division Two after coming from behind against Alloa to earn a 2-2 draw.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half when forward Kevin Byers fired in from 20 yards.
Alloa responded well and were level inside 15 minutes, defender Michael Dunlop popping up in the area to score his first goal for the club.
The home side then almost took the lead before the break but Darren Smith's effort hit the post.
But it only took Alloa 10 minutes of the second half to take the lead for the first time, and this time it was a more reknowned goalscorer in the shape of striker Bryan Prunty who found the net with a crisp drive.
Like, Alloa the visitors needed less than 15 minutes to reply, their equaliser coming from substitute Anthony Bolger who let fly from 20 yards.
After Bolger's effort the game petered out and a draw was a fair outcome.
