Paul Gascoigne arrested on suspicion of drug offences

Paul Gascoigne, who has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession, was this week warned he could be jailed after he admitted driving in Newcastle while more than four times the legal alcohol limit.
Paul Gascoigne has been arrested for drugs offences, sources said today.
The 43-year-old spent the night in police custody on suspicion of possessing a class A substance.
His arrest came days after the troubled former England midfielder was warned he faced jail when he admitted drink-driving at Newcastle magistrates' court.
Gascoigne was held at a house in Burradon, north Tyneside, last night.
A Northumbria police spokesman said: "At shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday, police attended a property in North Tyneside.
"A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug. A second man, aged 43, was later arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. Both men are still in custody and inquiries are on going."
