Stirling Albion welcome back defender Greig MacDonald to their squad to face Partick Thistle.

Albion will look to make it four games in a row without defeat but on-loan Hearts defender Jonathan Brown is suspended following the red card he picked up against Dundee last weekend.

Manager John O'Neill is determined that his men repeat their 2-1 win at Firhill earlier in the season saying: "That win was our first of the season and as a newly promoted side it was really important as it gave the players belief that we could win in this league.

"A repeat of that would be very welcome indeed.

"We are on a good run just now and if we play like we did in the second half against Dundee last week we will do well."

Partick Thistle will be without midfielders David Rowson and Ryan MacBeth for the trip.

The midfield pair are close to fitness, however a lack of games will see them sidelined for the trip to Forthbank.

Thistle are inching their way up the table and two wins in a row have lifted everyone's spirits.

The Jags have further attacking options for this game with Liam Buchanan looking to get a starting berth after hitting four for the reserves in midweek and Simon Donnelly fit again after a back injury.

Assistant manager Ian Maxwell said: "We are gradually becoming a team that is harder to beat.

"I would imagine this will be a close game like the one earlier in the season but one we want to win."
