AEK beats host Aris 4-0 in Greek league

ATHENS, Greece (AP)—Nacho Scocco scored twice and Pantelis Kafes and Rafik Djebbour added one each Sunday to help AEK Athens to a 4-0 away victory over Aris Thessaloniki in the Greek league.
The match was the debut for AEK coach Manuel Jimenez, who replaced Dusan Bajevic following the latter’s resignation earlier this month.
AEK climbed from eighth to third in the league standings with 10 points from six games, five points behind leader Olympiakos and four behind defending champion Panathinaikos.
In other games Sunday, it was: Larissa 0, Asteras 2; Kerkyra 1, Kavala 1; Atromitos 2, Volos 2 and Iraklis 1, Panserraikos 1.
