David McKenna netted a second-half brace as Brechin came from behind to beat East Fife 3-1 at the Bayview Stadium and stay top on goal difference.
The home side took the lead in the 14th minute when Robert Linn fired into the top corner from 12 yards.
But Brechin found the equaliser just three minutes before half-time when Craig Malloy fired into the roof of the net from 12 yards.
McKenna then took over, netting the first of his double with a header from the penalty spot in the 56th minute before heading into the opposite corner from a similar position for his second.
