Forfar welcome back Paul Lunan and Dale Hilson for the visit of Ayr.
Defender Lunan returns having served a two-game ban while on-loan Dundee United winger Hilson is also back in contention for a starting place following international duty with Scotland's Under-19 side.
Station Park boss Dick Campbell may hand midfielder Darren Brady his first start in more that a year following injury as he looks to get the Loons firing on all cylinders again.
With only one league win in their last six games, the club`s bright start to the season is becoming a fading memory.
But Campbell said: "There is plenty of fight in our team to stop this horrible wee run we are on. If we show the same determination we did in the second half at Alloa then we will do okay against Ayr."
Ayr defender Bobby Donnelly remains on the sidelines for the clash and he he has been joined by winger Alastair Woodburn.
The Honest Men have quietly climbed into a play-off spot and manager Brian Reid is looking for his men to keep their promotion challenge on track by taking all three points from Station Park.
He said: "We showed a great deal of determination to come back from a goal down to defeat Livingston (3-1) and we will need to show the same determination to get something against a Forfar side who will be out to get going again.
"They have good attacking players and we will need to stand tall against the threat of Chris Templeman."
