Ayr v Livingston - Roberts returns for United
Posted Saturday, October 02, 2010 by PA
Ayr welcome back striker Mark Roberts from suspension for the home game with Livingston.
But defensive pair Bobby Donnelly and Willie Easton and winger Alastair Woodburn have all been ruled out with injury.
Manager Brian Reid refuses to get carried away following two successive wins that have lifted his side into a play-off place.
Reid said: "We will not be getting over excited at the moment as there is only seven games gone and similarly I was telling people not to panic when we lost a couple of games earlier in the season.
"We have a lot of new players in the squad and it takes time for everything to gel."
Livingston manager Gary Bollan is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up.
But Bollan, who has no new injury or suspension worries, is demanding more from his unbeaten side.
Bollan said: "We may be unbeaten, but we feel that we can play better than we have done.
"Hopefully we can keep the run going and rectify our play with a good performance at Ayr.
"They are on a really good run just now after winning home and away, so we need to be up for this game."
