Defender Ian Pearce (ankle) could be available for Lincoln after missing Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Stevenage.

Paul Green is another looking to return from injury but midfielder Scott Kerr is still suspended.

Burton have no new injury worries after their defeat by Gillingham on Saturday but defenders Paul Boertien, Darren Moore and Tony James could return.

Midfielders Lewis Young and Keith Gilroy and strikers James Ellison and Greg Pearson are pushing for recalls.

Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby:

"We've played some good stuff this year. We've pinned teams in, but we've perhaps not scored at the right time, which changes games.

"Then we allow a silly goal which is frustrating but we're working to rectify that for next time.

"We had a great performance at Lincoln last season. It was one of those games where we played very well and it got us off and running. It would be nice to do that again.

"They're going through a tough patch, but again that's not something we've looked at. We've got to concentrate on our own performance because I still believe when we're organised, when we're doing the right things and when we're playing at the tempo that makes us a good side, we give anyone a run for their money."
