Forfar, who are looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at Stenhousemuir last Saturday, host Airdrie United, however manager Dick Campbell has lost three players form his squad.
Paul Lunan is suspended following his red card last week, on-loan Dundee United player Dale Hilson is travelling with the Scotland under-19 party to Estonia for a three-game tournament and Stephen Tulloch is injured.
Campbell is demanding an improvement from his side, saying: "We were outfought last week at Stenhousemuir and that is not like us. I do not expect a repeat of that in this game."
Alistair Divine and Darren Brady continued their playing comebacks after a year out during the week but this game has arrived too soon for them to be included.
Airdrie defender Scott Gibson returns after a one-game suspension and the Diamonds head to Station Park determined to improve on their record of having lost only one of their six league games this season.
Manager Jimmy Boyle, who has added youngster Kieran Coyle to his squad, reckons that his youngsters will need to battle to take anything home with them.
Boyle said: "Forfar are a much more experienced side than us and they are also physically bigger side. We will have to cope with the threat that brings particularly from a striker like Chris Templeman.
"We will need to battle for anything we get but one thing this side has shown is that they are prepared to do that."
