England have suffered a blow ahead of their Euro 2012 qualification campaign after Frank Lampard, Peter Crouch and Bobby Zamora suffered injuries on Saturday.

Lampard will definitely miss the games against Bulgaria and Switzerland after being told he needs surgery on a groin hernia.
The Chelsea midfielder was substituted after 72 minutes against Stoke and will have an operation on Tuesday or Wednesday this week.
“He had surgery 10 years ago and now has a problem,” said Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti. “He didn’t feel good so this week he needs to have surgery. It is the only solution.”
Lampard’s absence could mean a call-up for uncapped Wolves winger Matt Jarvis, who was named in the provisional 30-man squad on Thursday.
Crouch and Zamora, meanwhile, are both doubts after picking up rib and thigh injuries respectively.
Crouch lasted 45 minutes in Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat by Wigan, with Harry Redknapp suggesting he may have broken a rib.
Zamora scored for Fulham at Blackpool in front of Fabio Capello, but went off in the second half. “He must be a doubt,” said Fulham manager Mark Hughes.
