Raith Rovers v Morton: Weir lift for Rovers
Posted Saturday, August 28, 2010 by PA
Raith Rovers striker Graham Weir is fully fit to face Morton.
Weir has shaken off an illness bug leaving only the long-term casualty Mark Campbell on the sidelines.
Kirkcaldy boss John McGlynn is looking for his side to head into the two-week international break having secured a sixth win in a row and still sitting at the summit of the First Division.
Rovers saw off SPL Hamilton in the Co-operative Insurance Cup on Tuesday night to send spirits soaring at the club.
McGlynn said: "Winning five games running has been tremendous and it would be great to keep that good feeling going over the next couple of weeks, however Morton will not make it easy."
Morton manager Allan Moore welcomes defender Marc Smyth and winger David O'Brien back into his squad for the trip to Raith.
Full-back David McGregor and French midfielder Fouad Bachirou are the only players unavailable through injury.
Moore isaid: "I am really looking forward to the game and we will travel to Kirkcaldy with nothing to fear.
"Raith are on a fantastic run and had a great result against Hamilton in midweek and will be looking to go into the break at the top of the table."
