Stirling add new signings Jeremy Judith, Yohan Mathis, Jerome Heeking and Hearts loanee Gordon Smith to their squad to face Cowdenbeath.
Former Albion chairman Peter McKenzie has been invited back to the club to unfurl the Second Division Championship Flag prior to kick-off.
Forthbank boss John O'Neill said: "It promises to be a great start to the day with Peter coming back to do that, however it is then up to us to make it an even more memorable day by winning.
"Cowdenbeath are a side we know well after being in the Second Division last season, however like us they have a new manager and new players."
Cowdenbeath will be without defenders Joe Mbu, Richard Vauls, Dene Drouge and John Robertson and midfielder Danny MacKay because of injury.
Recent recruits Lee Sibanda and striker John Armstrong need fitness tests but former Motherwell man Mark Smith, who signed on this week, is included.
Blue Brazil assistant manager Colin Cameron knows the game is hugely important to both sides even though it is only the second league fixture of the season.
Cameron said: "Both ourselves and Stirling Albion will have this game down as winnable and they will be as keen as us to get that first three points on the board so it should be a good contest."
