We had an inkling that once Kerry got shot of her sponger husband Mark Croft, she'd be a better woman. But wowsers - what a difference a split makes!
We all cheered when we heard the star had finally sent Mark, 39, packing. And while it's still early days - we've seen Kerry, 29, dump him and emerge looking healthy and happy before only for her to take him back and pile on the pounds again - something feels different this time.
She's lost a pile of weight, she's got a new manager who's keeping her in check, and she's sworn off booze and drugs for good. Is car-crash Katona finally ready to take control of her life?
"I've wasted the last four years but I'm getting healthy - I'm off my medication and I'm clean," Kerry told us recently. "I'm bankrupt, but I'm going to work my backside off to make a life again for my kids."
Kerry, we've got our fingers crossed this is a breakover you can be proud of.
