Raith v Dundee - Davidson in fitness race
Posted Wednesday, April 21, 2010 by PA
Raith skipper Iain Davidson is the latest injury doubt for his side's home clash with Dundee.
Davidson could face a late fitness test, but Craig Wilson, Mark Campbell and Laurie Ellis are all ruled out through injury.
Raith manager John McGlynn is hoping Thierry Gathuessi and Stephen Simmons can both shake off injury after missing out against Partick on Monday.
McGlynn said: "We're by no means safe from relegation and have to look to pick up points in both games against Dundee. The injuries and run of games is not helping our chances all the same."
Dundee's third-choice goalkeeper Derek Soutar is poised for his first game of the season.
Soutar gets his chance in a game Dundee must win to stop Inverness being crowned champions as Tony Bullock has joined Rab Douglas on the injured list.
Striker Leigh Griffiths, defenders Dave Cowan and Gary McKenzie and midfielder Paul McHale have also been ruled out.
Dundee manager Gordon Chisholm said: "You have to give credit to Inverness for their run, but we're looking to make them wait a bit longer for the title.
"We will give it everything we have to win and put some kind of pressure on."
