Alloa march on

Alloa maintained their six-point advantage at the top of the Second Division win a 1-0 away win at East Fife.
The only goal of the game came after 54 minutes when Brown Ferguson played in Declan McAvoy in the area and the defender fired his shot into the roof of the net from 12 yards out.
East Fife were made to pay for some poor finishing after they dominated the opening period but failed to find the back of the net.
Lloyd Young had the first opportunity after just two minutes but the winger dragged his shot passed the right-hand post when he should of hit the target.
Paul McManus also had an effort just after the half-hour mark which was brilliant tipped around the post by David Crawford in the Alloa goal.
And on the stroke of half-time Jonathan Smart headed wide from six yards out after rising highest to meet a Robert Linn corner.
But after the break the league leaders took control of the game and saw out the game comfortably to make it just one defeat in their last 17 league games.
