LONDON, March 6 (Reuters) - Arsenal climbed above Manchester United into second place in the Premier League with a 3-1 home win over Burnley on Saturday.
Arsenal, who missed a stack of chances, led with a Cesc Fabregas goal after 34 minutes.
Burnley levelled through David Nugent and the hosts needed a curling shot by Theo Walcott after an hour and an injury-time score by Andrei Arshavin to take the points against the worst travellers in the league.
Arsenal, who were 11 points off the pace in December and nine behind a month ago, are now level on 61 points with leaders Chelsea who are in FA Cup action against Stoke City on Sunday.
United, third on 60, can go top later on Saturday with a win or draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
