Huddlestone to see specialist

Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone will consult a specialist after suffering ankle ligament damage during the victory over Everton at the weekend.

Huddlestone was injured when he was tackled by John Heitinga early in the second half of the Barclays Premier League clash and left White Hart Lane in a protective boot.

A statement from Spurs read: "Scans have revealed that Tom Huddlestone has suffered damage to the ligaments in his right ankle. The England international sustained the injury during Sunday's win over Everton and the player will now be seen by ankle specialists before deciding on the best course of rehabilitation."
