KASPER Schmeichel has the class to make it in the Premier League, according to his new boss at Notts County.
Steve Cotterill says that the Danish goalkeeper - who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Coventry City several years ago - can make a successful return to the top flight.
Despite the Meadow Lane club's off-the-pitch turbulence this season, Schmeichel has been impressive form since his close-season switch from Manchester City.
And Cotterill has been hugely impressed with the 23-year-old's form.
He told This is Nottingham: "Not many players would have dropped down from the Premier League into League Two.
"From what I have seen, he can get back into the Premier League. He's that good.
"It's not just his ability that has impressed me, it's his attitude and commitment too. He has really bought into this club."
