Marcello Lippi will make major changes when he announces the Italy squad on Sunday to take on Cameroon as injuries to his regular stars force him to make wholesale changes.
Il Corriere Dello Sport claims Bari's Leonardo Bonucci, Milan striker Marco Borriello, Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, Cagliari's Alessandro Matri, and Juventus winger Paolo De Ceglie will all get the nod for the friendly against the Indomitable Lions next Wednesday.
Milan's Daniele Bonera is expected to return following a long injury absence, while Giampaolo Pazzini and Riccardo Montolivo are certainties. Fabio Cannavaro, Andrea Pirlo, Daniele De Rossi and Gennaro Gattuso are all expected to be on the list.
Injuries to World Cup winners Gianluigi Buffon, Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Grosso, Mauro Camoranesi, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Alberto Gilardino sees them miss out on the trip to Monaco.
