Deportivo La Coruna Veteran Juan Valeron Aiming For Two More Years In Football

Deportivo La Coruna veteran Juan Valeron has revealed his desire to continue playing football for another two season beyond the current campaign.
The 34-year-old is now in his 13th season in top flight football in Spain and he is aiming to prolong his career at the Riazor beyond June 30, the expiration date on his current deal.
"I think I still have two years of football, but that does not mean that is what the club will offer. The contract may have another term. I have to look at what they deem appropriate and then decide. I want to continue, but it's not up to me," he said in an interview with AS.
"I am happy to continue playing football and now I have the chance to renew. Above all, I must be able to continue performing on the field and helping Deportivo.
"I want to stay with this team and just want to return the love [of the fans] on the field with my best football."
While negotiations on an extended stay with the Galician outfit are ongoing, Vlaeron has said he wants to focus on playing football.
"We have talked, but I'm not worried, because I'm still focussed on what I can contribute on the pitch," he declared.
