AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf looked back on this past weekend's city derby with disappointment, admitting that Inter were the better side.
The Rossoneri had the chance to cut the Nerazzurri's lead at the top of the table to just three points against an Inter side that played the majority of the match with ten men, but they fell to a 2-0 defeat.
"Inter are playing in a very strong manner, attacking from the start," he told the press, according to Goal.com Italia.
"AC Milan did not respond [in the derby] and now the fans are justifiably disappointed."
One of the controversial aspects of the game was the sending off of Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder mid-way through the first-half. The Dutchman did not speak about the incident, but did praise his compatriot for being a decisive playmaker.
"They have an extraordinary player now. Sneijder makes a real difference and is adding great quality to their team," he concluded.
