Livorno President Aldo Spinelli Wants Dan Petrescu Or Zdenek Zeman As Coach

Livorno president Aldo Spinelli has announced that the club's new coach will be chosen soon, and Dan Petrescu and Zdenek Zeman are the front runners for the job.
"By tonight, or tomorrow at the latest, we will know the new coach of Livorno," he told Sky Sport 24.
"I just finished talking with Dan Petrescu, who was hired by a Russian team [FC Kuban], but he told me he is not happy with his situation there. I will know soon if he can dissolve his contract."
Meanwhile, Zeman has not held a coaching role since leaving Red Star Belgrade in 2008. Nonetheless, the Tuscan club's supremo considers him a prime candidate.
"I always liked [Zeman's] game. I remember when he was with Foggia, they were a real pleasure to watch," he explained.
"Now we need to understand if we have the right players for his game, because with him you sweat. He prepares hard for every match and has diagrams. This is what appeals to me."
