Juventus directors are putting their anti-Ciro Ferrara votes in the ballot box at the club's headquarters in Turin as they prepare to look find a new coach in time for Thursday's Coppa Italia quarter-final clash against Inter.

According to Sky Sport Italia, members of the club's ownernship, including patron John Elkaan and his directors, have called a meeting to weigh up their options in relation to the coach's future. As well as this, meetings are taking place regarding the approval of a number of coaches including Michael Laudrup, Dino Zoff, Guus Hiddink and Giovanni Trappatoni.

Before sacking the coach, the club wants to ensure they line up a replacement that can take the team forwards until the summer.

As things stand, there has been no confirmation from the club regarding the speculative reports, but the situation is likely to unfold further over the next few days, depending on how the search for a new coach develops.

General director Roberto Bettega was the only member of the board at Vinovo to see Ferrara take training on Monday as he tries to uncover the root of the recent slide.

There are no certainties as to whether Ferrara will be sacked by Thursday, but the possibility remains likely as discussions continue in Turin.
