Weiss heads to Bolton

Slovakia winger Vladimir Weiss has joined Bolton on loan until the end of the season, according to Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.

Weiss has been left frustrated at finding himself on the fringes at Eastlands under Mancini and his predecessor Mark Hughes. He is keen to get some matches under his belt especially as Slovakia have made it through to the finals of the World Cup in South Africa.

Bolton manager Owen Coyle believes Weiss can help his side climb away from the foot of the table, although the club say there is still some paperwork to be completed.
