Coach Ventura: Bari Deserved A Victory Against Inter

The Galletti tactician rued a lapse in concentration after his side relinquished a double lead over the Nerazzurri.
After watching his side go two goals ahead with just half an hour left to play, Giampiero Ventura was understandably a little downbeat as he commented in the wake of Bari’s 2-2 draw with Inter.
“I am a little down obviously after having seen my side take an important double lead against a strong Inter side,” he declared to Sky Sports.
“When you are two up against the champions of Italy it is usually because you have played a great game. We did that up until Inter’s comeback and for ten minutes the side seemed to have a blip as we suffered a drop in concentration.
“It’s a shame, because I think we would have deserved the victory. However, this is football and when you are playing the league champions you simply cannot afford to make such errors in the middle of the park.
“Nevertheless, we will take this point and look to come away with the positives after what was a great showing in front of a spectacular San Nicola crowd."
