Haxhia Sokol says that there was at one stage interest in the Albanian from the Ukrainian side, but not at the moment...
Chievo hitman Erjon Bogdani might be linked to Bari and Catania as possible transfer moves, but the player's agent revealed that the 32-year-old could have joined Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in the past.
Currently, Bogdani is recovering from an injury to his cheekbone, which is why he is not receiving much game time, according to his agent, Haxhia Sokol.
"Erjon has a contract with Chievo until June," Sokol told Itasportpress.it. "Should there be interest in him, the two societies would need to agree firstly.
"At this moment, there is no official interest from any club.
"He isn't playing because of an ugly injury to his cheekbone. This penalises him especially since he is a very good aerial player, and a good header of the ball.
"Chievo has a lot of good players on the field, and the society needs to weigh up its options.
"Should his contract allowed to be expired, he will have a host of teams after him, both in Italy and abroad.
"Bogdani for several years was the transfer market object of Shakhtar Donetsk, but at this very moment, there is nothing," Sokol concluded.
